iPhone Bluetooth connection issue

In last few weeks iPhone has many Bluetooth connection issues with ipods, or with car. When I reset my iPhone or reset network settings it will fix just for short time but then it will break again. After reading most of forums out there I was frustrated, but yesterday I had a breakthrough realizing the problem is the watch. Probably latest OS 10 is keeping an open port, and keeps iPhone busy all the time even if closing Bluetooth on watch.

solution: power off watch. Reset iPhone to make Bluetooth work. Now it works for days without issue.

my iPhone version 17.3.1

watch os - latest (I think 10). I don’t use my watch for few days now, not wearing it..

Apple engineers, can you fix watch issue please?

You may try some of these steps, please check after each step...

  1. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
    1. Restart the device. That's it.
    2. Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
  2. If the issue persists, you can try resetting all settings on your iPhone. This will not erase your data but will reset all personalized settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General > Transfer & Reset > Reset > Reset All Settings and confirm the action. Note that you will need to reconfigure your settings afterward. All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.
    1. Reset All Settings: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support:- Return iPhone settings to their defaults
    2. You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
    3. If you want to save your settings, back up your iPhone before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup.
  3. Make sure you have the latest updates installed.
    1. Update Over-the-Air (OTA) —> Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (IN)
    2. Update using iTunes/Finder —> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (IN)

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to reach out to Apple Support or visit an authorized service center for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your device model and iOS version.

I have SOLVED my issue with Bluetooth connection issue

i found the Windows Phone-link app was the issue, I removed the connection from iPhone, still had issues, removed connection from PC, windows kept popping up “hammering iPhone” connect to iPhone even though not in discovery mode, and still causing Bluetooth tissues

problem only solved when turning of Bluetooth on PC! Been 12 days now no issue, still running 17.4

So issue is not iPhone but Microsoft phone-link app and pc Bluetooth drivers

I've had the same issue for about two weeks. It started with an iPhone 14 Pro and first-gen Airpod Pros. Phone calls and music would randomly cut out and eventually return or transfer to my phone. I was hopeful it was just my AirPods, so I replaced them with AirPod Pros second gen, but the problem persisted. At that point, I thought it must have been my phone, so I replaced it with an iPhone 15 Pro, but the problem persisted.Understandably I was not happy. I went to the the apple store, and a representative told me that "Airpods aren't good for phone calls" and also blamed my car for the issues. At this point, we concluded it must be a problem with my iCloud backup, and I should restore my phone without using my backup. I simply returned that iPhone 15 Pro and bought a new one. After spending hours setting up my phone without using a backup, it worked fine for 4 days. The problem came back today. What a pain.

I too am having connection issues with my Bluetooth. AirPods will not connect, won’t connect to car. If I restart phone it will work again for a while before messing up again.

phone has also been very slow responding, example, take a phone inside messages to send, it can take up to 20 seconds before photo is at screen to push blue send button, opening apps are slow or even crashing…

today Siri has been double typing sentences in messages, and activating without being called or even saying anything remotely to the name.

i was going to type resetting, but after reading later threads it doesn’t work.

not sure is it’s a OS issue,

13 pro, os 13.4 model MNDJ3LL/A
