Apple Watch is so dim I can hardly see it

Upgraded to Watch OS 10.3.1. I have set the brightness as high as I can.

I cannot see the words. I can barely see the watch hands.

If I shine a light on it for a period, it is bright enough for about 60 seconds.

Making the text larger isn't helpful.

I'm guessing the "auto-sensor" turns down the brightness. Well, that makes my watch nearly useless.

Apple Watch ultra too dim at night My Apple Watch ultra is so dim that it’s almost impossible for me to read at night, even with the brightness set to maximum. I have restarted it and have the latest Watch OS installed (9.3), but no joy. I workout early in the morning in a dim room and I find it almost useless. My Apple Watch 4 was far more legible.

Cannot change Apple Watch brightness after watchOS 8.7 update Hi My watch battery is running out is few ours after the update. I have unpaired/paired and rebooted several times the watch. I have changed the language couple of times. The display is on brightest level all the time. The brightness does not follow the settings value in the watch nor in the iPhone. Is the something else I could do to reset the brightness? --Timo
