Unable to copy Highlighted text from PDF on iPhone.

I can highlight text in gmail pdf preview but the menu with the button 'copy' does not appear.

iOS 17 Copy-Paste from PDFs Prior to iOS 17, I would frequently scan documents into Notes, then copy any desired information for a Numbers sheet. Since iOS 17, however, this feature seems to have disappeared. Attempting to highlight text only results in the entire PDF being highlighted, and attempting to paste even that yields no results. Am I missing something, is this a bug, or has a useful feature just been outright removed?

Text copied from pdf in preview is in "blocks" I was trying to copy a text in this pdf document in Preview but it's highlighted as "blocks", when I pasted it, it gives out gibberish. I tried to search for it but couldn't get the name/keyword of this problem correctly .

Retaining format when copying from Pages on iPad to pasting into Gmail Just this week I lost the automatic copy from Pages on iPad & pasting into Gmail letter, retaining all the format. Specifically paragraph breaks, numbering, indentation, etc. These features have been working for years up Friday 08/11/23. Now, no matter what I try everything gets pasted in with all the text in one long run on text, with all the numbers, indentations, links, removed. Is this the result of a recent update? Any help to resolve this annoying situation would be greatly appreciated.

That PDF document is probably password protected to prevent some options.
