Your phone is faulty, as I said above. Updating can be the final straw if a component is already failing.

If its still green after a forced restart then it's probably faulty, take it to Apple

After update iOS 17 green screen problem at iPhone 13 pro Max

I have the same issue with my wife’s iPhone 13 Pro Max after updating to latest iOS 17.4.1. First time encountered this issue for a long time Apple product user. Tried to force restart using @LD150’s method but still the same. Have booked an Apple genius appt later this afternoon. Will update here again what’s the outcome and I am also interested to know what’s the issue due to.

Unfortunately proves the hardware is busted.
