Text to Speech cuts off before all the text has been read when activated from Option + Esc shortcut in Chrome.

When I highlight text in Chrome and hit Option + Esc to start Text to Speech, it starts, but cuts out - sometimes in less than one second, sometimes after a sentence or two, and sometimes it works great. It is reliable at reading all the highlighted text in other apps like Notes.

When I highlight text and use the context menu to select "Speech" option in Chrome, it reliably reads all that I have selected.

Why does this happen?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

I have the same issue after updating. However, it works fine if I right-click and select "start speaking" from the speech option. I use the shortcut often and was curious to know if there is a fix.
