Google account password update

Changed Google account password. Apple mail on the Mac mini stopped receiving mail from one account.

I have restarted computer, changed the new Google password on all devices. Mail works on iPhone and iPad on all Google mail accounts. Mail works with all Google accounts on Mac comp except one. when I come to the verify page an error message says The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know
