Since updating to iOS 16.7.5 my iPad, iPhone SE, and my husband’s iPhone 8+, we no longer see half of the photos in apps like Facebook- they are grayed out or black. They may show in an email notification from the app of a friend’s post, but upon clicking the link to view in Safari or the Facebook App, they are black or gray. Any suggestions to fix?

have you resolved this issue? What version of iOS had you been on before having the Facebook issues? What version of Facebook app?
Have you tried clearing the Facebook cache and offloading the app and reinstalling it? See video below
also try clearing safari history and cache as well.

I did and none of this helped. Half my photos are grayed out for two weeks or so on both IPads, both fairly new. This is why I often delay updating and am regretting it again.
