Voice memo app pauses on it’s own

I’m using the voice memo app almost daily to record lectures. When I switched to the iPhone 15 pro max the app has been pausing the recording after a few minutes. I have to keep an eye on it or else I miss important notes. This never happened with my iPhone 8 Plus. I already turned off the voice memo app from icloud and it keeps on happening.

Why pausing Voice Memo in lock screen closes it when my my iphone is locked while listening to a voice memo, I try to pause and it closes the app. It stops the recording completely then goes to my Apple Music. How can I prevent this app from closing on my lock screen?
