Recurring pop up "An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable. Please quit and restart MainStage" happening since December 2023. I have validated all AU plug-ins using both AUVAL and the plug-in manager. All pass. Some users indicate this is a bug in Ventura and Sonoma audio handling. Any help would be appreciated

Find MainStage in the Applications Folder using Finder. Highlight it and then "show info" by pressing Command I. There is then an option to tick to "Open using Rosetta". The next time you run MainStage it should open using rosetta.
I assume as you've asked you are running on an ARM processor? If not, the Rosetta option will not be offered.
I replied already but it seems it is lost.... Find MainStage in the Applications folder using Finder. Highlight it and Get Info using Command I. Tick the "Open using Rosetta" option. Try running MainStage again.
I have the same exact problem. I have a M1 Pro Macbook Pro. I tried running MainStage with rosetta but I immediately get a CPU overload error.
BTW, I tried to find the com.apple.mainstage3.plist file, and I couldn't...
Is the Mac Mini an ARM processor or Intel? i.e. is it an M1 or M2. If it is, try running MainStage under Rosetta; some plugins pass the AUVAL but are not fully ARM compatible.
