doubt you can at all, if you did and and then went a head and uploaded all your music and poeple downloaded it they would be pirates enabled by you
If it's a track you downloaded through your Apple Music subscription, you can't upload it to a website.
No. It shouldn't be "easy to do". It's not technically legal to do.
It's coming back to me, the issue is technical, not legal. As a matter of fact, the song I am now trying to upload to Facebook was once on my Facebook page but seems to have been corrupted. Anyway, the challenge is to upload a sound file format that Facebook uses. At the moment, if my information is correct, these are MP3, WAV, AAC, and M4a. Unfortunately, my file is in the AIFF audio file format, so I'll have to convert it to a Facebook-friendly format before uploading it again. These days, that's not difficult.
Well, I always think the problem is me, that I can't do something that everyone else can easily do. I thought I had succeeded by going through Dropbox, but then I stalled out. I'll keep trying, though. It does seem to me that it should be easy to do.

If you do not have the rights to re-distribute the particular track, it will be subject to a DCMA take-down and you could, potentially face legal consequences. I wouldn't call that inspirational, but l but I suppose some might.

How does YouTube exist? From what many people seem to be saying, almost everything there is illegal.
I think these days, there's a lot of automated scanning of YouTube videos. When a major record label (or Google; not sure which) identifies a track with music that a major label claims is copyrighted, Google and the record labels will often "monetize" the video by adding ads – with the revenues going to the record companies.
This makes them less likely to demand that the video be taken down outright.
Plus, I'm not sure that people spend a lot of time listening to the soundtracks of random cat and dog videos in the hopes that one of them will have a complete, high-quality, "free" recording of a song they like. It's easier to go to the iTunes Store or to stream from Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc. So the videos might not be seen as being as much of a threat as, say, the original Napster was.

Good luck with that.
Thanks. I'll be sure to let you know of my success. It should be an inspiration to many, but I'm too tired to do it right now.
