Cancelling a subscription yet still being charged through Apple Pay.

I cancelled a subscription with a company months ago. Yet they are still continuing to automatically charge me through Apple Pay and then claim they have no records of all these false charges and won’t reimburse.

How do I block this company or do I just have to remove my cards from Apple Pay completely?

Your subscription is not through Apple. Contact your bank’s fraud department and explain the situation and that the charge is for a subscription. Just changing the number may not stop the subscription. Many times when a number is just changed, Mastercard or Visa updates subscriptions with the new number and the subscription continues. The fraud department should know how to handle the issue.

You might want to consider ordering a new card from your financial institution. I had a similar problem and the way I solved it was by ordering a new card, filtering all my payments (payment and shipping) through PayPal, and switch your default card to something that doesn’t have a lot of cash on it so you can double check questionable transactions that might appear on your account.

I’d go with the more efficient solution if you find one though.

Or call up their Human Resources and cuss them out, that’ll at least get their attention (not sure about the solution though).

I actually replaced my card in December to prevent this happening again, yet they have still taken payment through Apple Pay which I didn’t think could happen.

They are based in a different country to where I live so I’m using online chats to speak with them and they are really great for knocking me out of the conversation so I have to start over with a new person, so frustrating.
