can i add a time and date stamp to journal

With the new journal app I’d like to have a time/ date stamp for my entries. Also it would be nice to have automatic location stamp as well. How can I do this without manually have to enter the time?

I don’t really want location stamps but time stamps are a must have.

Would be great if we could have additional options for both.

Edit:

Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative until the official journal app get’s time stamps ? A simple and clean UI would be great.

I agree with this suggestion, timestamps for journaling are a must have.

For a workaround a while back I researched this a lot (for using timestamps in the Notes app) and I found the best solution was to use this keyboard modification app: ‘Easy Date Calculator, Keyboard’. It’s actually super simple, quick and easy to use. It adds a small icon to your normal iOS keyboard which toggles you to a time/date keyboard from which a simple tap will insert the current time (or various other time/date inputs you may want), and you can use it within any app that uses your normal keyboard so it’s very handy to have.

So from January till August Apple hasn't updated the time stamp to messages.

Just for clarification - any journal app has all required features, but not from Apple.

I don't know why, but today Apple has all new things first versions unusable.

Started from AirDrop when no near PC's or phones was found, than in case of files usage too - was unusable structure and files won't saved in.

Now Journal that doesn't contain at list a minimum required data.
