Apple carplay GPS showing wrong directions or off by some significant distance.

I was facing issue related Maps and locatio. with my Toyota Hyryder when connected with Apple Carplay. The position is off by around 20ft and facing in opposite direction then the actual position.

However, it was working well with Android Auto.

I tried resetting the display and all. Nothing helped.

I am writing this as many asked this question in the forum but no helpful answer was present.

I found a very simple but effective solution for the same.

The solution is - Connect your car with apple carplay then go to your iphone’s setting. Turn off sharing the precise location for both Google Maps and Maps app. Turn it on again.

This process will recaliberate the Navigation system.
