Roland E4 Voice Tweaker: can't get signal in Logic Pro
Hi All
I have a M1 Max Mac Studio running osx 14.2.1 and purchased one of the Roland mobile instruments in the E4 Voice Tweaker.
I bought in mainly to do voice effects in my tracks but have had no luck in getting it to hook up with signal into Logic Pro.
I have it hooked up as required with proper cables (the 5 DIN MIDI to 3.5 mm male stereo cables and the USB) and everything seems to be routed correctly.
the Mac shows the E4 in the Sound settings and if switched to as audio interface shows signal into Mac but can not hear it through any of the output devices I have when switched (Mac Studio speakers, my Alexis audio interface, the monitor speakers etc) the only time I can hear anything from this thing is thru the MIX OUT 3.5 mm output on the E4 itself and a set of headphones.
I was hoping to use this as a midi instrument.
just wondering if anyone has run into something like this before? I figured I would ask here first as Korg support will send me here anyways considering the unit works and provides the signal, it's just the Mac doesn't get it.
thanks!
(if it is something really dumb that I didn't know about... I am a total beginner here. I apologize in advance!)
