airpods pro 2 conversation awareness not working

my Conversation awareness just stop ed after the new IOS phone update 17.4.1 I did try all the setups nothing work. ( rest the buds didn’t work)

( microphone on off didn’t work) switch off the phone didn’t work. Please help.

Unfortunately it didnt fix it for me, I changed the setting back and forth multiple times… Still not working 😩

Didn't work for me either. This was working perfectly until about a week or two ago.

The conversation awareness

stopped working for me also. Apple needs to fix this or stop advertising this as a feature

Go to settings to AirPods and toggle on and off microphone automatically switch. This fixed the problem in my case

Yes this works. Weirdly the sound recognition for kettle was turned on by default. What’s more disappointing is sound recognition and conversational awareness doesn’t work together.

I’ve had the same problem. And, I stopped noticing any difference when switching to noise cancellation. Went to Genius Bar and they said everything tested fine. After further testing I realized that conversation awareness was not working. After trying the many recommendations online and in this forum, none worked. I then took a new, soft toothbrush and brushed the grills (microphone areas) and to my surprise, though they looked perfectly clean, all features started working.

Confirmed this works.

Try rebooting your phone. It just worked for me.
