Apple Watch May Cause Skin Rash

I have a 41 mm stainless steel Apple Watch Series 8. The watch leaves a rash the size of the watch face on my arm. I find I have to give my wrist a break and the rash goes away in 3 days. But I am starting to get a circle ⭕️ scar from the repeated breakouts. I love the watch, so I will deal with it. I wish they made a hypoallergenic watch. I get the skin pealing and all on my brown skin. I usually don’t peal unless I get a really bad sun burn 🔥 which is rare for me. Is this watch burning me??

Why does a timex regular watch doesn’t break me out. Oh well, I do leather work so I will make a band that lifts the watch head off my skin with a protective plastic layer under it and insert it into my specialty band.

Thank you for this information! Even though I'm having the same problem too, I'm not able to find much information about why this is happening. I will link the one source that I found and which subheading I found it under. It will probably not give a full idea, but it will give you a partial idea.
