New Epson printer won’t print from pages
The printer is connected to Wi-Fi and will print documents from Files but when I try and print from Pages it won’t find the printer. I use pages a lot more!

Just bought a Wi-Fi Epson XP 2205 printer. It works from a windows pc, also downloaded Epson smart panel for iPad, connected and setup ok. It will print pdfs but it cannot print from pages documents!! Can I use another app that can recognize pages documents or is there a fix? Thanks

The XP-2205 does not appear to support AirPrint, the Apple technology that allows printing without an additional app, so you would have to rely upon software from the printer manufacturer. In case a certain document format cannot be printed via Epson Smart Panel, a workaround could possibly be to begin by separately creating a PDF file (save as/print to PDF) from the document, and then try to print that PDF.
