Same Answer. There is no indication on your device if a person has blocked you. There will still be a Delivered status on Messages being sent to that person, but they will not receive the message.

I asked someone else to block me and non of the messages showed as delivered

Is it only happening with that one person?

Are the messages blue or green?

There are many situations where you will not see Delivered on your end, but being blocked by the person you are sending the message to is not one of them. Most of the time it is a glitch on your device, but the recipient may have "Do Not Disturb" on or iMessage shut off or they may not have a cellular/internet connection. You will have no indication on your device if another person has blocked you.

Thanks. So if that person hasn’t blocked me I should get a delivered status. And if they have blocked me I won’t get a delivered status? All messages are blue

No that is not correct. A person blocking you makes no difference on the Delivered status. You not seeing "Delivered" is related to an issue that has nothing to do if you are blocked. It is usually the case of a network issue or the person does not have a cellular/wifi connection. It may also be the result of a connection issue on your phone.

There is no way you will be able to tell if the recipient has blocked you.

I’m reading a ton of mixed comments on this. It’s the phone !

I have a lot of personal experience with this from both sides of the block. When you’re blocked as a contact by someone, it’s impossible for them to view texts missed calls with iPhone. When your text bubbles stop saying “delivered” below after time passes, that usually means you’re blocked more than 99% of the time.

The only confusing thing is the iMessage glitching. I randomly saw a message marked “delivered” from a text thread that I was blocked in. I didn’t know what to make of it so I followed up and, still blocked. There definitely are tech glitches and circumstances as to what iMessage wants to display.

..as for android, luckily I’ve never been blocked by one before.
