I forgot my Apple ID password when trying to reset I get the verification cose on my trusted device enter it in but then it asks me to enter the passcode for my Ipad when I enter it, i get an error message that they cannot verify the passcode.
I have tried choose other device and each one says the same thing.
I know the passcode is correct HELLLLLP
Same exact problem… so frustrating. I’ve tried “forgot passcode” even though I have not. The next step allows you to choose a previous device and enter that passcode. I’ve tried older iPhones and my current MacBook password and it continues to state they are incorrect.. which they are not.
I’ve changed my passcode on my current iPhone, reattempted the process and it still states failed. What the ****…
I found a work around. Go into your settings -> Apple ID -> Sign In Security -> Change Password.
I was able to change my Apple ID pw from there and get past the issue. Hope it helps.
