Started getting constant notifications on opening Safari related to McAfee, Norton Anti-virus, yoax.cfd, virus alerts and more. Using Avast and it found a few problems and supposedly eliminated them, but notifications still constantly appearing. What to do?

Yes indeed !! This took care of the annoying problem. It would keep say McAfee or Norton or (5) viruses found. But after following the -STOP UNWANTED NOTIFICATION- instructions it all went away.
