Where is the private collection ( in a library , app , CD ) ?

Do you want to add them to Apple Music the application ( iTunes library) or add them to an Apple Music subscription ?

Well that's to the point but not helpful. Is there a way to add mp3 songs from a private collection to Apple Music on ANY device in the Apple system or is it time to abandon the native app?
