How do I stop Notes from creating hyper links?

Notes keeps automatically creating hyperlinks that I do not want and they are inaccurate hyperlinks. For example, if I just type a number in, it will automatically interpret it as a postal code or something similar and create a link for it which I do not want; but there does not seem to be any way to get rid of the link or stop notes from creating the links in the first place. This is very frustrating.
