Transferring images from Nikon Coolpix P510 to an IPad Pro or iPhone 8

I’m trying to transfer pictures taken on my Nikon Coolpix P510 camera to either my iPad Pro or iPhone 8, and the prompt is not coming up when connected.

downloading photos to iMac using MacOS Monterey I wish to down load images from iPhone 13 on ios 17.0.2 to iMac OS Monterey. After selecting the device, Photo displays a message message, "Preparing to import from iPhone" and nothing happens. I capture in 'raw' format. I have tried 'Image Capture', it also does not recognise any image on the iPhone.
