Italian live captions
Hi everyone, do you know when real-time subtitles for Italian language calls will be implemented in iPhone?
iPhone 11, iOS 17

Hi Francispaul92
welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community!
Re: "Italian live captions:

We are all Apple users, like yourself, in this community. Likely no-one here know any more than you do, just what Apple intends to create, make, present, or do, in the future.
Apple support's article: Get live captions in real time on iPhone - Apple Support
makes it clear that Live Captions is available on iPhone 11 and later when the primary language is set to English (U.S.) or English (Canada).
All the best :-)
Thank you for replying, Francispaul92
You can see an overview of the Apple Developer forums at:
Apple also has a webpage for sending feedback on software and products:

That’s amazing to know in 2024! Why not other la languages like Google or Samsung are doing? What’s the point to be inclusive when majority of global people and your clients are not considered? I am talking about adding 10 languages as minimum. Also, when you will develop something to transcribe conversation and calls?
You are talking to Apple users like yourself here, alessio100. Apple is not here.
If you are following the discussion you will notice we are talking about "Live" captions, which are "real time" subtitles.
With Live Captions, spoken dialogue is turned into text and displayed in real time (eg: on your iPhone screen). You can more easily follow the audio in any app, such as FaceTime or Podcasts, and in live conversations around you.
Sorry I don't know what Google and Samsung are doing in regard to "Live" captions
Thank you for the reply. Do you know if there is another forum dedicated to developers for suggestions like that? Like a similar thing that is already there for Microsoft developers.
