I am using Apple TV app on a computer with Windows 11. Although the movie I purchased has 1080p feature, it plays at maximum 720p. The strange thing is that if you right-click on the movie you purchased from the archive section and check its properties, you see that the movie that is 1080p is actually 720p.
All I want is to watch in 1080p. How can I do that?

How do you determine the played movie is 720p? when playing Apple TV in my PC with a 1440 widescreen HDR monitor, I can only see only HD from info and when not playing either HD or 4K depending on what I have in library.
it's still only in preview as in sort of beta really maybe it's one of the features they've yet to get around to adding

Assuming that the Windows app has the same features as the Mac app:
Your saying ''Also select your movie, then select the Video menu, then the Video Quality option, there change it to 1080p. Restart the app if needed. Then try again.'' but there is no option in this app.
This may be where the Apple TV app for Mac differs from the Apple TV app for Windows PCs.
Ignore it if it doesn’t apply to your edition of the app.
