Basically, every single time I try to reply to any message on iMessage it just lags. After I do the swipe thing or hold to reply it takes 5-7 seconds for the keyboard to pop up. It’s been very frustrating and inconvenient when I want to reply to a message quickly cus I gotta wait this long so my keyboard pops up. Any solutions? I have enough space and iCloud storage but yeah. Running on latest iOS 17.2.1

I believe it’s an iCloud thing. I had this exact issue and it bugged me for a while. I just upgraded to the 15 pro max. What I did to resolve this was turn off ‘messages in iCloud’ in iCloud settings.
Settings > your contact card > iCloud > show all > messages in iCloud (toggle off).
this should resolve the issue. If not, maybe reach out to apple directly.
