Apple tv app cant play dolby 5.1 surround audio, only atmos and stereo. App needs fixing?

Apple tv app on android tv play dolby 5.1 audio as stereo pcm. Tried many movies all the same. Movies with dolby atmos play as atmos ok. Android tv is connected to samsung q990b soundbar. Tried all different audio settings on tv like passthrough, auto and pcm. Tv and soundbar plays dolby 5.1 movies on other platforms ok. Seems like apple tv app on google/android tv has a problem need fixing. This is a serious problem as most of the movies are dolby 5.1. Please update the app solving this issue. Thank you
