Final Cut Pro Crashing when selecting Color Inspector

Just recently updated to macOS Sonoma and I'm experiencing issues with FCP 10.7 crashing when I select the Color Inspector within a new project I just recently created.

This doesn't happen on all libraries, just recent ones that I've created. I have one Library for a reoccurring Project that doesn't have this issue. Yet I still cannot work on two other projects that I have because it keeps crashing. Having to switch to DaVinci Resolve for the time being because it has affected my ability to do my job.

Please delete the environment settings. It's not a fundamental solution, but restoring it to the default should make it better than the current situation.

⚫︎Start FCP →Immediately press and hold option+⌘ keys

The most stable version for Intel Mac users is FCP10.6.10. 10.7 is buggy and not developed for older Intel Macs. You should not edit important data. If you touch the color inspector icon, it will crash, so please call it with a shortcut or preset.

⌘6: Color board/color wheel

⌘7: Video scope

Save preset layouts for cut edits and color adjustments and recall them at any time, reducing the risk of crashes. 👍 Follow the link to learn how to save layout presets.
