Did Apple finally fix sidecar?

I'm running MacOS Monterey on a 2019 Mac Pro with a 4th generation iPad Pro. I've done all the "fixes" way too many times. I've restarted, restored, signed IN and OUT on both devices, etc. Same iCloud acct on both, handoff on, etc. Devices "Trust" each other. Reset Privacy&Location, and so on and so on. I don't have a VPN or internet sharing; tried different cables and ports.....

I can use it over WiFi/Bluetooth but I lose connection after 10 minutes or so. If I try it via USB-C it doesn't connect at all, "device timed out". This is so frustrating! It works great for some people but there are many, many posts over the years from people who are still having issues.

I guess Apple doesn't care enough to finally address this but part of their allure is that their ecosystem usually works really well together. If someone has found any new tips I'd sure appreciate it. If anyone has found the secret please let us in on it. Please??!!

Use the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...
