The wrong name is used on my watch to notify me of activity achievements - I have checked all the places previously recommended (contacts, about watch etc) & they are all using the correct info…only watch is wrong…what else should i do (besides ignore it)…

In my experience, sharing an Apple ID with a spouse who also has a Watch, causes this behavior. I have not found a way to correct it and I am ignoring it, since it doesn't seem to alter any data between the two devices.
I'm just fishing here, but have you checked your Watch App>Health>Health Details>View My Health Data>...to the right of "Browse," tap your Icon>Health Details. Any clues?
My husband does not have an Apple Watch - the name that comes up is someone in my contacts though
