Since At least iOS 16, apple dictation adds random punctuation, such as commas, capitalization in the middle of a sentence, and other annoying punctuation. I constantly have to correct AutoCorrect. What the heck is going on? This issue is at least two years old and Apple doesn’t do anything to fix it.

well the fact that there hasn't been a reply here is a bit sad to see as a brand new Apple user for the first time. Dictation is an absolute nightmare and constantly capitalizes names. For example I am using dictation for this paragraph and let's use a name and see what happens. MIKE. David. TONY. Krista. JEREMY. CLARK. And so on and so on. As you can see dictation decides to fully capitalize these names and I have to constantly fix it and I have yet to find an answer on the Internet as to why it does this. googles version of voice to text is absolutely flawless. Apple needs to spend some more time on this issue for sure.
