Hi, I have added my sons watch to my iPhone but he would love music on his watch. How do I add the music I have bought onto his watch? I can add this music to his iPad easily but cannot work out how to add this to his watch
Try the following:
On your iPhone, open the Watch app ➡️ Ensure that the correct Apple Watch is selected at the top ➡️ My Watch (Bottom Left) ➡️ Music ➡️ Add Music. After that you will be given options to select and download music to the selected Apple Watch.

Thank you for the reply. But when I select my sons watch, music is not listed.
from all the research I have done it appears I need to subscribe to Apple Music?? I can’t believe I can’t add songs that I have purchased from the music store.
