Mute button not working at all on iPhone 15 Pro Max

Go to Settings>Action Button and make sure that you have the button set for "Silent Mode".

Hello, i was dealing with the same thing on my Iphone 15 pro for THREE DAYS, searching for an answer and videos. anyway, but i just randomly pressed it 3 times rapidly and it says “Hold for Silent” or “Hold for Ring” and it worked!!! Try it out and let me know :)
