How to use external display with iPad 9th gen
How can I use external display with my iPad ninth generation I have seen that people use the Apple AV adapter is there any other way?

Most iPad models support AirPlay - and/or connection to a single external monitor using an appropriate HDMI Adapter. The most recent models of iPad Pro also support HDMI Alternate Mode/DisplayPort connections over USB-C. Compatible iPad models can be connected to a single monitor/TV.
You should note, however, that unless you have an iPad model that supports Stage Manager*, your iPad will not support an extended-desktop view; instead your iPad display will be “mirrored” to a compatible external monitor/TV, preserving the iPad’s screen aspect-ratio. The iPad can also “stream” media content directly to an attached monitor.

(*) Due to limitations of internal hardware, the new Stage Manager feature introduced with iPadOS 16.1 is only available for these models of iPad:
- iPad Air (5th generation)
- iPad Pro 11-inch (all generations)
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later)
Feature availability is usually limited by system hardware - CPU and available RAM being critical to some advanced functionality.
iPad models supporting Stage Manager have an M2, M1 or A12X CPU (upon which the M-series CPUs are reportedly based) - with at least 8GB RAM. The iPad Air4/5 has only 4GB RAM.
