Noise cancellation is worse since last update- correct?

Since 63B4 update to the AirPod pro 2nd generation noise cancellation is nonexistent. I can hear literally everything around me. The only options that work are transparency which amplifies all the sounds around me and off. I set it on noise cancellation and it sounds identical to the off selection. Was super impressed with noise cancellation prior to this update. Please fix. I will need to replace with another brand if not.
