Urgent Appeal: iPhone 13 Series Green Screen Issue

As an avid Apple user, I recently encountered a critical issue with my iPhone 13 Pro. After the recent iOS 16/17 update, my screen turned green overnight, a problem many others face.

This green screen glitch appears to be linked to the OLED displays. While it may be a manufacturing hiccup, the genuine concern is that Apple's software updates trigger the problem. The big question: if users aren't to blame, who is? My take—it's on Apple.

Paying for a screen replacement due to Apple's updates or potential manufacturing defects at purchase seems unfair. Yes, I can pay for a fix, but it's not just about the screen; it's about reliability. I rely on my iPhone for work, and waking up to a green screen affecting my meetings and data storage is more than an inconvenience—it's impacting my livelihood.

Resolving issues is tricky, but it's Apple's job, not us. I urge Apple to step up, acknowledge this problem openly, and establish a service program. Users shouldn't be left footing the bill for a flaw that's not their doing.

It's disheartening that users are held responsible post-warranty, especially for issues caused by Apple's updates. This erodes trust.

Let's cut to the chase. Apple, your loyal users need a quick and transparent resolution to the green screen issue. Your swift action would appease frustrated users and reinforce your commitment to quality.

Yes Sravan , while I understand that iOS updates aim to improve user experience and address bugs, the concern I'm highlighting is specific to iOS 16/17 causing underlying screen faults on many iPhone 13 models. This isn't coincidental; a quick search on Google or social media reveals the widespread impact. Apple service center technicians are aware of this issue.

Upon inspection, my iPhone showed no damage except for the green screen, and technicians confirmed it was not user-induced. I'm not alone in this, and that's why I've raised this concern. Please grant this issue some time for resolution. Unfortunately, due to the green screen, checking settings on the phone is currently not feasible.

My Opinion:

In my Opinon, I think this happened because of heating issue that happens when iOS updates, maybe there was issue with the screen in some iphone 13s which got triggered when iOS update heated the device.

iOS updates generally aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. Green Screen issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

This seems purely coincidental so please check the Setting on your device.
