Virtual Instruments play continuously

When I'm using virtual software synths in Logic Pro X, sometimes they keep playing even when there is no midi part, or when the track isn't playing.

Here's a quick video demonstrating this:

The problem stops if I change the synth preset, but then starts again pretty soon after.

It happens with all the synths I use, including Arturita, Ana 2, Roland and so on.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

If the problem occurs again, you can check the monitor in Open Midi Environment > Layer: Click & Ports > Input View/Monitor to see if you notice anything unusual.

And customize your Transport Display to activate Midi Activity (In/Out).

Hi,

ANA 2 is a virtual synth...this was just the one in the example video I posted. It happens with all the virtual synths that I use.

It also happens after restarting, and in general it happens on an off whenever I'm using logic. It seems to happen fairly randomly – sometimes I can be working on a song for an hour without it happening, other times it happens constantly.

I don't have a midi controller plugged in.
