Troubleshooting a Lost iPhone:

I. About iPhone and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the local shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to that itself was connected to the internet. So, was Find My never set up and enabled on this iPhone?

II. What to Try:

A. Backtrack your Locations:

Do it the olde fashioned way and backtrack your locations. For instance, if you were at a retail store, then stop in, asking the store manger if it was placed aside.

B. Lost-&-Found:

Chick with the Lost & Found department of the facility you were in, seeing if it has been handed over.

C. Contact Local Authorities:

See if the community police, or local security guards at the front door, can across it.

D. Use Craigslist:

Put a post on Craigslist, seeing if they have been found.

"no location found , offline".

There are several possible reasons and possible combination of reasons why this message is occurring.

1) The phone has been powered off

2) The battery on the phone has run down

3) The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is currently located

Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do at this point except check a few times each day to see if the status of the phone has changed.

Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen phones because they have no way to track the phone. The same is true for the users on this support forum.
