Safari audio not going through headphones

Hi everyone,

Safari audio (all audio) doesn't come through my headphones, either in Bluetooth mode or with the jack plugged in. It's the only app that behaves this way, and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Before it is recommended, yes: I have already checked that the audio settings are correct. Safari is the only app (and the only web browser) doing this.

Thanks in advance!

This may be because of your mute settings on your tabs:

If this does not work, resetting the NVRAM (a small amount of memory that your Mac uses to store and quickly access certain system settings such as sound volume) might help:

If all else fails, resetting the SMC (power manager) on your Mac may be needed.

Hope this helps!
