In most of my texts the microphone symbol is on the righthand side of the new text box. Now in some conversational groups, there is an audio symbol 5 red lines. I am accidentally enabling it
How do I disable this feature (bug)?

I followed the advice of clicking on the microphone on the keyboard. The red lines went away and the microphone symbol reappeared on right side of message bar. Thank you.

JUST GO TO SETTINGS, THEN TO GENERAL, THEN TO KEYBOARD, THEN SCROLL TO ENABLE DICTATION ! ONCE YOU SLIDE "on" the enable dictation slider, IMMEDIATELY Your microphone will be back onto it instead of that red line audio sign.
Contrary to the other guys answer I no longer have a microphone icon, either in the keyboard or the side menu. Now what?

I did that in settings and it changed back to the microphone in all but one of my text threads! Is there anyway to fix that individual one!?
