iPhone 15 Pro Max Damaged Sim card

I am using the latest iPhone 15 Pro Max with physical sim card slot. I didn’t removed my sim card since the day I used the phone. It has only been a month since I used the phone and today I realised my phone has no signal for my physical sim. The phone setting no longer detects my physical sim card. Upon removing the sim card tray I realised my sim card is dented inwards. What should I do? Get a replacement sim and pray that the card won’t be damaged if not I have to pay a fee or should I go to the Apple service centre? For those holding the latest iPhone 15 Pro Max please open up your sim card tray and check!

Nothing in the SIM slot can do that sort of damage. SIMs are remarkably durable. It would take effort to do something like that. It looks as if someone scribbled on the SIM and that stabbed at it with a ballpoint pen.

I worked in the cellular phone industry for 20 years. I can tell you it's not the SIM tray or the SIM slot. Someone deliberately damaged that SIM.

If, and that's a HUGE if, the tray were to scratch the SIM card, the scratches would all be in a straight line from being pushed in and pulled out. This damage is from someone who took a metal object and randomly scratched the card and made the dents. As I said before, you can't possibly believe this was done internally by the phone.
