I have three .zip files, each of which has a cloud icon attached (see below). I put them into the bin and empty the bin. They disappear. A few seconds later, they return. I have tried control-right click and 'delete immediately' and the same thing happens. How can I remove them permanently? I have already tried starting up in safe mode and that didn't do the trick. Grateful for any suggestions!

Hi: thanks for your reply, much appreciated. The files don't actually appear on the iCloud drive. They are only visible in the Bin. I can move them from the bin and open them, so they are still usable, but if I empty the bin, they reappear a few seconds later.
Looks like den.thed may have your solution. :)
I've never seen this, will mull & investigate further...
Do a Get Info on one, what Path or Where does it say it is?
