cellular data won't work since the update. I can't use my phone's apps when I am away from my house. please help

Because cellular data is not working. That will reset your Network settings not the whole iPhone. But you can also try to Force restart your iphone

If you do not want to that too, you can contact the Apple Support

Did you reset your network settings in general>reset iPhone>reset>reset network settings?
