Unable to Print from iPad

I have always been able to print from my iPad from my Brother Printer, which I just purchased and had worked fine. The recent update must have changed that because now whatever I do, I cannot add the printer to the network. I manually entered the IP and did not work. Anybody know how to get around this since this printer is not in the holy list from apple

Ops, it’s a BRO HL-2370DW (not in the list). I was able to get around this by selecting export + pdf (there is several options besides .pdf)…. Go back into print menu and this allows you to see the printer on your network. Dada I believe if you printed before, the printer is already on your network, so select and it will now print.

Yeah figured it out! When you want to print, select the arrow up box in the menu bar (upper right). Select export and share, next menu will allow you to select options like .pdf, word, and whatever those other files are. When I picked .pdf it took me back to my original printer menu (yours may look different) and allows you to pick the printer on your network. Pick it and change any other menu items that are revelent to print and print.
