How do I get my watch to show my battery percentage on my watch face after the new update?

With the new update I can no longer swipe up and see my battery percentage.

Apple changed how you access Control Center with WatchOS 10. To open Control Center, press the side button (not the Digital Crown) once.

This button. Tap it once. DO NOT hold it down or that brings up the Emergency calling display
