Repeated Duplicate Contacts

Hi, I’m needing some help on how to stop or prevent my iPhone 14 pro Max and iPad pro 11” - 3rd gen (both running iOS 17.1.1), from creating duplicate contacts. Continue to create duplicates of the same contact list multiple times and i end up with sometimes up to 34 repeats of each person in my contacts list. I then have to go figure out which one is the correct contact and delete all the others. As you can probable empathize this is very frustrating have it to do week over week. Any suggestions on how to prevent. *Seems they are creating a contact for my outlook account as it keeps putting an outlook link and comments in the notes section. Pictures as well below. Then is also looks to create 1 for iPhone, 1 for iPad, and 1 for iCloud. So i have 4 separate contacts each saved under my iCloud log in.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, 17

You may have stored the same contacts in multiple email accounts.

Either remove the contacts from the rarely used email account or disable contacts from the rarely used mail account in the iOS Mail app.

Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
