Why am I not in control over my WiFi shutdown in the control center?

I want to shut down my WiFi via the control center and back on via the same control center. That is why we have a control center, not? I can do it in settings but that is not so convenient, easy to do. And above that why should it be back on when I don not want that??

If you turn it off in Settings>WiFi, it will not turn back on by itself. If you turn it off in control center, it will turn back on at 5:00 AM or when your location changes. I think is an abuse of my privacy.

Settings is designed to turn off/on

Control Center feature is to disable for a shorter period; say for a flight or event.

Questions that begin with "why" are the purview of Apple. Nobody here can answer those. But, from my perspective it is perfectly logical. I may turn off on a plane and forget to reenable when disembarking. As for notification, the message "WiFi disconnecting until tomorrow" is displayed.

I know that I can send comments and feedback via Apple’s Product Feedback portal. I will do that also. But I prefer to discuss it first on a user to user discussion forum.

Yes that is what I wrote. But I do understand why? And why not inform a user with a simple pop-up that it is temporary?! My orientation settings or flash light or a lot of other ones are also not temporary in the control center. Not logical.

So why there is an airplane mode then? Do what you want but this is not logical and lots of people agree with me, search the internet. And tell me why the other options in the control center are not time limited?
