The latest iOS update 17.1.1 has broken the Wallpaper Blur option when you have a different photo than the Lock Screen. If the Lock Screen image and Wallpaper image are the same then the blur works fine, but when these images are different the blur option does not work. This worked fine before this new iOS update.

I have done a hard reset on the phone and tried creating new lock screen / wallpaper pairs and its the same every time, if the images are the same the blur feature for the wallpaper works fine, but if these images are different then the blur option does not blur the wallpaper.

Same issue still persistent after updating to iOS 17.1.2 on 13 pro max. From what I’ve heard about 17.2 betas so far, it doesn’t seem to be fixed their either.
You’re right. Blur doesn’t work for me neither. Also have 2 different images for lockscreen and wallpaper.
It appears that this has now been fixed in 17.2.1
I have the exact issue and it's very problematic because it makes my apps nearly impossible to read. While I appreciate SravanKrA's response, it is completely unhelpful. I guess we will have to wait for the next update and see if Apple fixes the problem.
I have the same thing, but I have an interesting note, when you are viewing the wall paper in the "customize" in the lock screen (when switching wallpapers), it blurs it correctly, but does not when you actually use it. This to me shows that it is clearly a bug and is not intended.
