How do I turn off the trackpad, on Magic Keyboard, ipad pro

While doing heavy typing it is very easy to accidentally touch the trackpad and it moves the pointer causing typing errors. Cannot find feature to turn it off.

Here's the most you can do right now:


To adjust your trackpad, go to Settings > General > Trackpad. You can change the tracking speed — the speed that the pointer moves — as well as the scrolling direction. And you can turn on or off Tap to Click and Two Finger Secondary Click.
