”Uninstalled apps” keeps using up cellular data

Hello,

recently I deleted and reinstalled a bunch of apps on my phone.

and noticed that there was a section called uninstalled apps that used up about 60 KB of data.

I let it be for a while and didn’t delete nor update any apps after that.

when I looked again it was suddenly at around 160 KB of data and now recently around 200 KB of data

should I be worried or is this something apple just does,

I did read that having iCloud synced be a cause

and I did turn it off. I’ll notify you if it keeps on using my internet.

Best regards// Val

This is my 'Uninstalled Apps' cellular data usage when my data usage is at only 4 days. Not insignificant at 6.3GB

That item in Settings > Cellular is designed to show the amount of data that was used by apps while they were installed (i.e., data used between the time you last "Reset Statistics" on that screen and the time that you deleted the apps). I don't know why the number would continue to change but note that the amount of data is pretty insignificant. I would Reset Statistics in Settings > Cellular; that will erase the uninstalled apps line item until you next delete an app.
